On National Public Radio’s 1A, ILSR Co-Director Stacy Mitchell talked about how the pandemic crisis is impacting small businesses and why the federal government’s current response is inadequate.
Here’s an excerpt:
We’re very concerned that [the federal funding available to small businesses] is going to run out quickly and that the most vulnerable businesses are going to have trouble grabbing on. The other problem is that Congress opened this program not just to small businesses but also to chain hotels and chain restaurants.
