Forty Under 40 is an award by the Portland Press Herald designed to recognize talented individuals in Maine – under the age of 40 – who are making a difference. They are the emerging generation of leaders who are bound to make a memorable mark in the business community and beyond.
Each year, the readers submit nominations describing who they think deserves to be highlighted. All of the nominations (which totaled more than 100 this year) are reviewed by a selection committee and scored. Once the final list is compiled, there is a fun networking event to celebrate the winners.
The event this year was held on May 25 in partnership with the Portland Sea Dogs.
