On July 29, 2020, the House Judiciary Antitrust Subcommittee held a hearing investigating monopoly power in online platforms, featuring testimony from the CEOs of Amazon, Apple, Facebook, and Google.
During the hearing, Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon referenced findings in ILSR’s “Amazon’s Monopoly Tollbooth” report to interrogate Jeff Bezos about how Amazon is extracting increasingly more from small businesses.
