Lisa Gonzalez has joined the Institute for Local Self-Reliance as a broadband researcher. We are excited to have her and look forward to seeing some of her work show up here on Community Broadband Networks.

A little background on Lisa:

Lisa Gonzalez has been a native Minnesotan since the day she set foot here in 1990. She is thrilled to be working on examining and advancing the concept of connectivity, an integral and expanding part of our economy and our quality of life, through community broadband.

Lisa's background includes freelance journalism, law, state politics, higher ed, crafting design, and her favorite role - being a parent. She has learned boatloads from each and every experience and is excited about this new adventure. Lisa and her two daughters live for camping, biking, and hanging out and share their home with a cat named Trixie.
