Invertir en Cero Residuos:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>crea empleos,<\/li>\r\n<li>impulsar el crecimiento de la manufactura nacional,<\/li>\r\n<li>reduce los gases t\u00f3xicos de los vertederos e incineradoras,<\/li>\r\n<li>limpia nuestras v\u00edas fluviales y protege la salud de nuestras comunidades,<\/li>\r\n<li>ahorra energ\u00eda,<\/li>\r\n<li>ahorra dinero para empresas y comunidades, y<\/li>\r\n<li>crece la econom\u00eda.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>En promedio, se estima que el reciclaje crea diez veces m\u00e1s empleos que el env\u00edo de desechos a<br \/>\r\nrellenos sanitarios o incineradores. Un informe de la Alianza Global por Alternativas a la Incineraci\u00f3n encontr\u00f3 que<br \/>\r\nse generar\u00edan 2.347.000 empleos directos totales con una tasa de desviaci\u00f3n del 75% para residuos s\u00f3lidos municipales<br \/>\r\nresiduos s\u00f3lidos urbanos (RSU) y escombros de construcci\u00f3n y demolici\u00f3n (C&amp;D) para 2030. El desv\u00edo de residuos tambi\u00e9n<br \/>\r\nprotege a las comunidades de los riesgos para la salud asociados con los vertederos e incineradores, como<br \/>\r\ncambio clim\u00e1tico, plagas y contaminaci\u00f3n del aire y del agua. Desviar desechos significa evitar que m\u00e1s basura termine<br \/>\r\nde nuestros oc\u00e9anos, grandes lagos y otras aguas, que son importantes fuentes de alimento y agua potable<br \/>\r\nagua
