    A new report from the Pennsylvania Recycling Center evaluates the economic impact of recycling in the Keystone State. Key findings include:
    • The 6,373 companies that directly are part of Pennsylvania’s Recycling Marketplace employed over 66,000 people while stimulating almost an additional 110,000 indirect and induced jobs.
    • For every job within the Pennsylvania Recycling Marketplace, an additional 1.7 jobs are supported.
    • It is estimated the Pennsylvania Recycling Marketplace generated $1.7 billion in state and local taxes and $2.7 billion in federal taxes.
